Cerveceria Jester's Growth Spurred by Petainer Kegs

Here's Rafe Hutchings co-founder, commercial manager, of Jester Brewery, Santiago, Chile, which was founded in 2014, explaining why he is now using Petainer kegs to help grow his business:

We were receiving a huge amount of interest up and down Chile for our beer in draught, and we wanted to introduce our beer to regional Chilean cities.  However, Chile is 4300km north to south so presents major logistical challenges.

Petainer has enabled us to open up new markets throughout Chile because it has made things simpler for us to transport our product.  With PET, we have also reduced our carbon footprint while maintaining the quality and freshness of our beer. As a result, we are now using PET for all our draught beer clients outside our local market, Santiago.

Since we started using Petainer Kegs, we now have new customers in Iquique, Antofagasta and La Serena in the north of Chile; the central coastal cities of Valparaiso and Via del Mar, and in the south the cities of Concepcion, Valdivia, Pucon, Coyhaique, Puerto Varas and Punta Arenas too. North to south, these cities cover most of Chile´s 4300km length!

We have also received interest from importers in Europe, the USA and other Latin American countries, so we´ll consider exporting in the future with PET once we´ve achieved our home market goals. Chile is known for its excellent wine it'd be fun to show people internationally that Chile has some great beers also!

We are very pleased to have been recognized by UNTAPPD as the best Chilean brewery in 2017 and all of 2018 so far.  UNTAPPD represents the direct opinion of the drinker and that´s what we most value and are most proud of.
